Stephen M. Davis (PhD, Columbia International University) is an elder at Grace Church of Philly and has planted churches in the US, France, and Romania since 1982. He is the author of seven books, including three on French history: Rise of French Laïcité, The French Huguenots and Wars of Religion, and French Protestantism’s Struggle for Survival and Legitimacy, 1517–1905.
