James Eglinton received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh and is now Meldrum Senior Lecturer in Reformed Theology at the University of Edinburgh. His book Bavinck: A Critical Biography won the History and Biography Book of the Year prize in The Gospel Coalition 2020 Book Awards and was a finalist in the 2021 Christian Book Awards. He is married, with four children.
